Thank You, 2022 and Hello, 2023!

As we get ready to enter 2023, thank you to everyone who supported Being Bees in 2022. We have shared the sweet gift of raw, unfiltered honey throughout the year with so many honey enthusiasts. Because of your support, we can help spread our message of helping the bees, which are vital parts of our ecosystem. Hear the Buzz, Help the Bees!

To wrap up the year, we want to take a look down memory lane to see all the fantastic events we were lucky enough to attend.

Back in the heat of the summer, we had a booth at “The Makers Hive Market, Summer at the CAMP” in Costa Mesa. On August 14th, with live music, food, and multiple vendors, we were excited to spread the buzz about Being Bees! During that event, we had a veteran customer restock her honey supply and some new shoppers interested in using honey as a sugar alternative - we were buzzing about this!

As the leaves started to fall and turn “bee” yellow, we continued to share our honey at Pop-Up events! On October 23rd, during the Halloween Night Market pop-up in San Juan Capistrano, we celebrated Fall and Spooky Season with other local businesses. We had a shopper purchase three mini jars of honey for her daughter, who wanted all the benefits of unprocessed honey. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the event sponsors, Sergio and May, owners of The Pop-Up Shoppes - a business that helps organize and facilitate events for small businesses. We highly recommend following @thepopupshoppes, @surgebindel, and @thai_katana on Instagram to see what amazing events they have planned for the future!

In November, the holiday season rolled around and it was time to get festive and give back. On November 11th, we visited Tustin and the Coventry Court Senior Apartments.
Melanie D’Avanzo, the Community manager of Coventry Court, hosts fundraising events for St. Jude every year. Due to the pandemic, the events were on hiatus in 2020 and 2021. After two long years, Being Bees was grateful to join the donors/vendors list this Fall. Be sure to follow @stjude and @greystarapartments!

Lastly, on December 8th, Being Bees was invited to a
beautiful private holiday event at The Tower Stadium. Some customers we met had never used raw honey before! However, they enjoyed adding raw sugar to their drinks. We were glad to inform them that raw honey comes straight from the hives to the jars with minimal process. As a sustainable business, we felt lucky to share our passion for sustainability with those at The Tower Stadium. Stadium Tower is now LEED Silver certified. This means they address carbon, energy, water, waste, transportation, materials, health, and indoor environmental quality. Being Bees supports Stadium Tower in their effort to lower carbon emissions and create healthier places for people. If you are interested in their sustainability efforts and the events they host, we recommend you follow @stadiumtower on Instagram for the latest updates!
