Being Bees was founded in 2021 with three major principles in mind: Purpose, Quality, and Community.

We knew we needed to launch a company that stood for something. As life-long coffee and tea enthusiasts who love honey, we felt compelled to raise a voice for the bees that provide us with these things! And of course, if we’re going to do something, we’re going to do it right. That’s why we only supply the highest quality, U.S. Grade A, 100% raw, and unfiltered honey. Our honey is sourced by our partnered beekeepers who handle the bees with the utmost care to avoid any disturbance to these hardworking pollinators. In practicing this humane process, we hope to build an online community of honey lovers across the globe. By consuming more honey, you are supporting the success of beekeepers who then can provide more beehives, more bees, and healthier pollination for our crops. This then leads to a more productive and thriving ecosystem. We make efforts to maintain an environmentally friendly process, from beginning to end. That’s why we package all of our products in a 100% glass hexagonal jar, which proves to be the most effective in terms of health, taste, and reducing waste. Together, we can support the environments that these beekeepers and bees need to survive – and we can enjoy some delicious honey, too!
