On October 23rd, during the Halloween Night Market pop-up at , we celebrated Fall with other local businesses and shared our love of honey with so many new customers!
The sun set beautifully at Inn at the Mission San Juan Capistrano. Our awesome team were ready behind the booth to greet witches, vampires and ghosts come trick-or-treating our sweet honey! We like to give our customers a free honey stick when they stop by the booth. Out of our nine variants, we have new fan favorites at every event! Our classic Clover Honey and our fruit blackberry honey were the favorites of the night.
We interacted with a customer who was shopping for her daughter. Her daughter only wanted the best of the best - honey with no artificial colors or flavors. Luckily, our honey is 100% raw and unfiltered, with no added flavorings. She ended up taking home three of our mini jars for her daughter to try!
The Halloween Night Market was put on by the owners of The Pop-Up Shoppes - a business that helps organize and facilitate events for small businesses. Our Being Bees team caught up with Sergio and May, the founders of The Pop-Up Shoppes. They kindly shared their story about how they began their business.
During the pandemic, Sergio and May were roommates looking for ways to support struggling small businesses and bring their apartment community together. Ever since then, Sergio and May continue to bring small businesses together at events with live music, games, raffle prizes, and more. Sergio and May were extremely kind when we talked to them, and we are so grateful to have been a part of the Halloween Night Market!
